multimedia trained journalist

We're seeking a multimedia trained journalist, ideally someone local to Lagos, Nigeria to gather, reporting of news and videos as we expand and take our news website to the next level.

Requirements

-Researching and reporting news stories.

-Gathering and reporting of news stories and moving them on digital platform.

-Write accurate and engaging articles

-Develop and maintain contacts 

-Editing articles

-Interviewing for video 

Other requirements

-Needs to have own laptop

-Have knowledge of SEO and social media 

-Multimedia journalism experience

-Have a good broadcasting voice 

-Ability to develop strong contacts

-Have an interest in business news. 

Required Professional Background

- Trained and experienced journalist

- Extensive experience acquired within a local media (TV, radio, print, design)

- 5 Years minimum experience as a field reporter (stories, start ups, interviews) etc, etc

- Strong awareness of and interest in local news, local people, lifestyle.

-Degree in journalism
